Granville
Blues & R&B Fest.

I developed the festival’s promotional creative, official performance schedule, large-format banner creative, and social content, connecting the campaign on screen with the experience on the festival grounds.

DESIGN → PROMOTION → EVENT ENVIRONMENT

A community festival.
A connected campaign.

From the first announcement to the onsite schedule, I translated event information into creative built for different moments in the guest experience.

01 / THE ASSIGNMENT

Building the visual campaign for a community music festival.

I was commissioned to develop key marketing and communication materials for this multi-day festival produced by the Granville Business Improvement District.

I brought the lineup, headliners, dates, location, free admission, multi-weekend format, and community positioning into promotional and guest-facing materials. My role connected graphic design, event marketing, content production, and physical brand implementation.

My role

  • Creative direction
  • Promotional design
  • Event marketing
  • Social media content production
  • Video content
  • Content repurposing
  • Information design
  • Large-format creative
  • Campaign execution
02 / OFFICIAL FESTIVAL FLYER

The campaign’s primary
promotional piece.

I designed the official festival flyer to bring performers, event details, community positioning, and Granville branding into one recognizable asset for digital and physical promotion.

One asset. The essential information.

I used artist imagery and a clear hierarchy to connect the festival name with its headliners and practical guest information.

The supplied flyer promotes two weekends, four dates, free admission, and a family-friendly community event at 8633 W. Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee.

Historical campaign artwork, preserved as supplied. Event details are not a current invitation.
03 / EVENT INFORMATION DESIGN

Four days of programming.
One clear schedule.

I created the official performance schedule to organize two weekends of programming into a visual system guests could consult before and during the festival. Day groupings, performance times, artist names, headliners, opening information, location, and admission details all needed a place.

04 / LARGE-FORMAT IMPLEMENTATION

From screen
to festival grounds.

My performance schedule was produced as large-format onsite signage, extending the campaign into the physical festival environment. The supplied photograph documents the installed banner beside the event tent, where guests could consult the programming.

ORIGINAL DESIGN → PHYSICAL APPLICATION

Information at the point of arrival.

I designed the schedule as more than a social graphic. Its hierarchy also supports a large, guest-facing format on the festival grounds.

My original schedule design and its completed large-format application, documented onsite.

05 / LOCAL NEWS CONTEXT

The work
in context.

My onsite performance schedule was also visible during local CBS 58 news coverage of the festival, providing another view of the design functioning in the event environment.

The coverage was about the festival. CBS 58 did not commission or endorse my design, and I am not presenting the story as coverage of me personally.

06 / SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT MARKETING

Building momentum
through content.

I produced promotional social content using newly captured event photos and video alongside archival footage from previous Granville festivals. I repurposed that material into campaign assets designed to sustain awareness before and during the event.

My contribution extended beyond static flyers to promotional video, event-day capture, and recap-style content. The two supplied pieces below demonstrate that broader content work; no individual performance metrics are claimed.

07 / THE CAMPAIGN SYSTEM

One festival.
Multiple touchpoints.

  1. 01Festival identity & event information
  2. 02Official flyer
  3. 03Performance schedule
  4. 04Social media content
  5. 05Large-format signage
  6. 06Onsite guest experience
  7. 07News coverage context

I connected promotional design, content production, and physical event communication through a shared set of festival information. The news footage documents the signage in use; it is not a media placement I claim to have secured.

08 / DELIVERABLES

Creative that reached
beyond the feed.

I carried the assignment from core promotional materials into social content and guest-facing event signage.

  • Official festival flyer
  • Official performance schedule
  • Large-format banner creative
  • Event signage
  • Social media graphics
  • Promotional video
  • Event-day photo and video content
  • Repurposed archival content
